When I am bored, I usually click on my StumbleUpon toolbar and see if I can find cool stuff to do. I am quite fond of the things I find that I never thought existed in the internet. There are amazing web designers and photographers; really cool flash games, useful tools and softwares; funny stuff and cool music.
First 10 of the things I find interesting while stumbling upon:
I am going to post more links every chance I get. If you want to share yours, just let me know. Have you ever stumbled upon your website?

If you are a music fanatic like me who tends to listen to their mp3 player before they sleep, then this ones for you. Capstone Industries just released a line of Simply Comfort Mp3 Accessories.
MP3 Tune Shades

All of them are made from memory foam, created by NASA, a visco-elastic polyurethane foam that adjusts to your body weight and temperature. The MP3 Tunes Pillow looks quite comfy, too. It is ideal to be used at home, when you just want to relax and take a short nap to the tune of your favorite songs. Among the three, the MP3 Tune Shades is the one that's making a big buzz.
I can see why. It is portable, you can bring it anywhere; in the office, at home, or even when traveling. You can plug it in to your audio device, like MP3, iPod or Zune, and escape to ...

Now, I am no expert, but I know more things about SEO now, more than I did 2 months ago. What is SEO, anyway? SEO or Search Engine Optimization is the process of improving the quality of traffic to your website from search engines.
For example, Lisa wants to know how to edit a video, and you happen to have a tutorial about it, Editing A Video. Now, all Lisa has to do is login Google and find you. Out of the thousand search engine results, how is she going to land on your tutorial if you're on the 221st page?
First of all, search engines must know you exist. The first thing you have to do is submit your website to different directories. You can start by adding your website to DMOZ, one of the free open directories out there. Submitting your website to all the major search engines is ...

The story took place in Michigan, where a likeable high-school loser, David Rice (Max Thieriot), discovered that he has the ability to teleport from one place to another. He seems to do this on reflex, so he tried to learn how to focus and control this ability. Before long, he grew up to be a materialistic slacker, played by Hayden Christensen, and he has been jumping in and out of bank vaults, to Egypt, to Tokyo, and wherever he dares go. So that's the backstory.
Anyone who has the imagination to dream of being in two places at one time, could've written the story better. I could have. They spent so much money on the special effects that they seemed to have forgotten to finish the script. It felt like the movie was rushed. There was no character development nor a character that is engaging. All the best parts of the ...

For the past months, I have visited a handful of blogs, while some of them I was able to enjoy, most just led me to click on the x-mark to close the Firefox tab. I decided to make a short list about my website pet peeves.
BABY PINK AND PIXELLED
I believe that there are so many other color schemes to choose from, but why are there so many pink blogs with a pixelled cartoon image? I noticed this among local bloggers, and it actually annoys me how they can recreate their own pink theme but would still look the same as the next one. Be original! If you can't make your own theme, download something that has a shade besides pink!
BILINGUAL POSTS
Fine, you can speak more than one language, and yes, it is your blog and you can write whatever you want, however you want it, but, think about your visitors. ...

Valentine's Day has become a very commercialized occasion. Come February, all the stores at the malls are offering discounts; flowers becomes an overpriced entity; and eating lots of chocolates is an excuse to skip your diet. Some people find this day very stressful, but, I've survived a lot of this day for years.
Here are a few tips on how to survive Valentine's Day:
If you're single,
...and bitter, let the people around you, like your family and friends, that you don't need reminding that you are alone and not in love with anyone. This keeps them from sending you those love messages expressing how this day should be about being in love. When in fact, they could just say, "I love you", for being a good son/daughter, for being a great friend and for being you.
Make this day a reminder that, love is not just about being in love. It is also ...

This film is based on the novel of one of the best horror masterminds, Stephen King. Now, if you are easily offended, queasy or gets easily scared, this film is not for you. The Mist is quite disturbing, yet, the movie was well made.
The film was set it Maine, where a local painter, David Drayton (Thomas Jane) lived with his wife and son. It started with a freak storm that brought this cloud of mist that covered the whole town, well, it could've covered the whole world, for all we know. It turns out, there is something in the mist that kills anyone on its path.
Most of the scenes took place inside the grocery store, where a lot of locals were trapped because of the the mist. For a sci-fi thriller, this film showcased more of the human side of the story. Even if the creatures that invaded the town ...

At this day and age, advances in technology seems normal. Everything just had to be updated, upgraded and we, the users, are sometimes left behind. While I was watching Hero channel in our local cable, they featured this wireless card that let's a camwhore upload her photos without connecting it to the computer or logging on to her online photo account. Sounds a bit off, right? I mean, how can anyone upload their pictures to the computer or to the internet without connecting the camera to the PC?
The answer is simple: Eye-Fi
How exactly does this work? Well, to better understand how this works, here is the video I found in Youtube.
My take on it? Well, it is useful for people who are too lazy to plug cables. I'd stick to the cables for now.

I decided to get a new home because I want my personal blog to be personal. Since the birth of PayPerPost, my personal blog has been cluttered with monetizing content. Now, I am not against earning money online, but sometimes writing about health insurance on my personal blog seems weird.
This new blog will be internet-related stuff. I didn't make use of a custom theme, since I really don't have time right now, so I just used Blueforest, because I like the colors.
Anyway, since this is my first post, I won't bore you by adding so much details. I will be back tomorrow with some good stuff.
