CODEPINK: Women For Peace
When I watch the news daily, I can’t help but notice all the bad news that I see on CNN. Some countries are still fighting their own wars, some soldiers are still sent to Iraq, which diverts our attention to the more important things.
Stumbling upon CODEPINK made me realize that there are people out there ready to fight for a change. Their purpose is to end the war in Iraq, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education and other life-affirming activities.
CODEPINK women and men seek to activate, amplify and inspire a community of peacemakers through creative campaigns and a commitment to non-violence.
